ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This interior design project covers two areas of a new-build - Kitchen / Living room and Master Bathroom. Working with newly built houses is very easy - rooms are of an up-to-date size and location within the building - the only thing is left is to make it more personal for the family that is going to live there because even within one style ten people will end up with ten different looking rooms. But even if you go to the showroom and choose all the materials you like, the work doesn't stop there - this is where renderings come in handy - seeing a small sample of the material and the whole wall clad in it might have a totally different look, not to mention all the elements behind the surface that actually bring you comfort like sufficient amount of sockets in all the right places, in-floor radiant heating, modern hardware, ingenious storage solutions, etc.
KITCHEN INTERIOR DESIGN
Clients were interested in achieving a more functional use of kitchen footprint while bringing in some quality of elevated materials, colour and drama into the space. There's a lot of really careful construction detail to achieve that fine edge like introduction of curves on the fluted design of the island, dazzling pattern of marble veins on the benchtop and niche around the cooktop. Brass shadow-lines with the fluted marble bring the kitchen truly to the next level. Kitchen design here in general pulls you away from the feel of a working kitchen, this is a kitchen display, kitchen for entertaining and gathering around sophisticated island, while maintaining all the functions of a well designed kitchen ready for any bake off. Island has a seating for four with a curve underneath, kitchen sink in black granite finish that sort of camouflages in the dark stone pattern with a dishwasher and pull-out bins on either side. The dark wood veneer on the back wall acts as backdrop for this stone niche which also has fluted upper cabinets. Double door fridge on one side and an eye level oven behind pocket doors on the other.
During an apartment or a house renovation there are areas like kitchen or bathroom that would really benefit from a professional eye so if you're not ready for the full house interior design definitely think about those most important rooms.

BATHROOM INTERIOR DESIGN
A very modern take on a coastal inspiration, light and airy to create the space that feel like a little oasis escape from the city. Clean monolithic custom-made stone wall-to-wall basin that sits against the wall ledge with just enough depth to put some bathroom items and decor. Perfect front lighting for make-up and skincare, Kit Kat tile on the wall to soften the colour palette of the space and oval-shaped bathroom mirrors to bring in some sense of elegance. Double vanity, double shower under the skylight, freestanding bathtub and an enclosed water closet - a truly great master bathroom that ticks off all the boxes. Recessed-in open shelving in the shower with LED lighting adds functionality and a really nice warm tone. A reeded glass shower screens which is a huge trend right now elevates the space and gives a bit of privacy.
