BATHROOM INTERIOR DESIGN

Client's brief for a dark and dated bathroom was of course to make it light and airy with just a touch of coastal feel to it, enclosed Water Closet and shower as well as create lots of benchtop surface around the bathroom basin. Master bathroom design depends on your habits and preferences, how you use the space on a daily basis will define areas you'd need there.

The steel-frame pivot doors with fluted glass leading to the shower and water closet are located right across the doors to the bathroom. Fluted glass gives enough privacy to those areas while letting in light and keeping the feel of spaciousness. The back wall of the shower was configured into a semicircle which gives cave-like look and feel to achieve the sense of intimacy and retreat from the world as the walls wrap around you. Earthy tones of kit-kat tiles brings so much warmth to the space. Rain shower in the centre, handhold shower-head on the side, as well as recessed niche for some bathroom products. Closer to the louvered window that lets in natural light we've got a huge bathroom vanity with a basin a lots of benchtop space which was clients preference over a double basin. Stone vanity benchtop, lots of storage in the drawers underneath with fluted facades as well as in the mirror- cabinet above the basin, curved wall to soften the space and some perfectly spaced lighting for skincare. Behind the vanity on the opposite side we've positioned freestanding bathtub and built a ledge on the wall to have a place to put all your bathroom products and candles. Large format light floor tiles, earthy toned finger tiles on the wall and brushed brass tap ware to add some drama.

During an apartment or a house renovation there are areas like kitchen or bathroom that would really benefit from a professional eye so if you're not ready for the full house interior design definitely think about those most important rooms.
